Not just mythology. It’s a property of certain systems: they get stronger from stressors. Nassim Taleb calls this antifragility.

Resilience means bouncing back to where you started. Antifragility means bouncing forward.

Your muscles grow from micro-tears. Your immune system strengthens from exposure. Your ideas sharpen from criticism.

The key is dose. Too little stress and nothing adapts. Too much and it breaks. The sweet spot is enough challenge to trigger growth, not enough to overwhelm.

Seek the right stressors. Avoid the fragile path of total comfort.
